The 2D max gamut is very interesting in that to many observers the bigger gamut shown from the Barbieri would seem to be better but in fact the proofs made from the Barbieri measured profile were a little too saturated in the Oranges and Green. The smaller gamut from the MYIRO-1 measured profile is a better visual match to the output of the Incas.

From the handling point of view it is the most comfortable instrument I have. Lies very well in the hand, runs extremely easily on the measuring ruler. You can also measure very quickly. It is also very easy to transport thanks to the small carrying bag and the low weight, no comparison to the i1Pro 2.

I have been using it with EFI Fiery, Bodoni PressSIGN and ColorLogic’s ColorAnt. The device is stable and accurate and repeatable. It seems to be a major advance on its main competitor, at much the price, which includes a more comprehensive colour management software package.

The excellent outcomes I have achieved definitely makes this software package user friendly and much less frightening than opposing profiling programs. As an experienced user I found the practical and refined functions easy to follow and easy to use over a broad scope of colour print machines and devices.
